For financial institutions

Inside the relationship. Built to work through you.

Your brand. Your products. Your expertise. Troutwood brings them together in one connected experience—helping you engage the people you serve and stay at the center of their financial lives.

The gap

You have the relationship. Somebody else has their attention.

You hold the deposit account, the card, the mortgage, and the years of history behind them. But the everyday financial decisions happen between interactions—the raise, the move, the first child, the car that finally died.

Your name is on the account. Somebody else’s app is on the screen.

That’s a frequency problem, not a marketing one. When the next financial need arises, the relationship that’s in the room has an advantage.

  • Decisions you hear about afterwards

The auto loan closed at the dealership. The rollover went to whoever asked first. By the time you hear about it, the decision is already made.

  • Balances that walk

Deposits leave for a better rate or a faster app. The relationship wasn’t present in the months leading up to the decision.

  • Products nobody knew you had

You offer the savings account, the home equity line, the advisory relationship. But when the need arose, your customer didn’t know where to turn.

Where we sit

Inside the relationship. Never between you and your customer.

Most platforms want to stand between you Troutwood is built to strengthen the relationship you already have—not create a new one beside it. Your customer sees your brand, your products, and your expertise. Troutwood works behind the scenes, helping you stay connected, extend your guidance, and be there when financial decisions are made.

The usual model.

A third-party lands in the middle, learns what your customer needs, and sells the answer. You keep the balance sheet. Somebody else builds the relationship.

Ours.

Troutwood sits underneath a relationship that stays yours. Your guidance goes out. Their progress comes back. Your team knows where to act.

The growth engine

We grow assets with you, not around you.

Troutwood turns financial engagement into a reason to deepen the relationship. When your customers need to save, borrow, invest, or take the next financial step, the path leads back to you.

  • Assets grow with you

Troutwood sits inside the relationship you already have. Savings, lending, advisory—every road in the app leads back to the products on your own shelf.

  • You show up earlier, and more often

Guidance and planning give your institution a reason to be present between transactions, so the relationship is already there when a lending or investment need arises.

  • Engagement becomes pipeline

Partner Actions and the admin console show which customers are ready for which product, giving your team an intelligent signal—not a list and a guess.

  • Your customers are the strategy

What makes the app worth opening is the same thing that strengthens the relationship. Supporting your customers isn’t a side benefit of growth. It is the growth.

How it lands

Four steps. The first three are ours.

No core integration project to staff. No vendor to rip out. No new headcount required. We do the heavy lifting.

  1. We stand it up

You tell us who you serve. We fit the program to your customer base, put your brand on it, and run it on our infrastructure. Your team doesn’t have to build anything.

  2. It reaches your customers

Every customer—not just the ones who walk into a branch. One plan at a time, in their own words, on the phone they already carry, with your institution on the home screen.

  3. They act on it

Open the account. Raise the contribution. Start the emergency fund. Your products are the next step - without turning the experience into a sales pitch.

  4. You see what moved

Adoption, engagement, and participant intelligence come back to your console, so your team knows who is ready for the next conversation.

Bi-directional flow

One relationship. Seen from both sides.

The team screen in a customer’s app, headed My Team over the line Here to help you grow. Under it sit two marks side by side, Troutwood’s tree and the institution’s own, and a dashed circle for adding a third.

Your customer

What your customer gets.

  • One dynamic home

Where they stand today, what changed, and what comes next. One clear view of their financial life.

  • Plain words, no jargon

Built for the 99%, not the 1%. Nobody has to speak finance to understand where they stand or what to do next.

  • Your name on it

You are present in the experience, with your products and expertise there when the next financial need arises.

  • Portable for life

Their history, goals, and progress travel with them as jobs, institutions, and financial relationships change.

The roles inside one group in the console. Under a Roles heading, a card for Students, described as university-enrolled participants under 26, carries 312 total members, an average wellness score of 7.5 and an average likelihood of 69 per cent. The card for Professionals, working professionals aged 26 to 55, begins underneath it.

Your team

What your team gets.

  • Your whole customer base, one view

See adoption, progress, and needs across the population—not just the people who raise their hands.

  • Intelligence, not guesses

See who is building an emergency fund, sizing a mortgage, or preparing to invest—based on what people actually do, not a segment.

  • Partner Actions

Put the right offer, message, or incentive in front of the customers it fits, directly from the console.

  • No new headcount

Your team doesn’t have to run a curriculum, staff a help line, or become financial advisors to deliver value at scale.

What it looks like

One platform. Two ways in.

Your customers open an app. Your team opens a console. What happens on one side informs what happens on the other.

The Troutwood console on an organization’s dashboard. The greeting names 1,402 employees taking control of their future. An organization overview card carries a headline score of 9.3 beside totals of 14 participants, 15 plans and 1 non-participant; a quick actions card offers adding a user, managing the account, generating a report, creating an incentive or sending a message; a participant summary reads $18,825,100.00 of total wealth planned for across a median time frame of 29.1 years; and a shield summary underneath reads 76 per cent for plan, 58 per cent for likelihood and 82 per cent for adequacy, each up on the month. A group in the console, Amy’s Clients, with 437 members across 3 roles and an invite code. Its overview tab shows a headline score of 8.8 beside plan coverage of 95 per cent, likelihood of 88 per cent and adequacy of 90 per cent, and a role distribution of 312 students at 70 per cent, 45 professionals at 10 per cent and 80 retired at 20 per cent. The participants tab of the same group: a searchable roster of all 437 people, filtered by role, showing a page of eleven rows. Each row carries a first and last name, a score, whether a plan exists, likelihood and adequacy percentages, a role and a location. Scores run from 9.5 down to 1.1, and the weakest rows are marked in red. One participant’s record: Jim Smith, 34 years old, with a score of 7.1 on a coloured scale and five shields under it reading 100 per cent for plan, 95 per cent for likelihood, 66 per cent for adequacy, 95 per cent for emergency and 90 per cent for on track. Contact details, risk profile, occupation, income and a goal of $2,400,000 marked on track run down the left. Beside them, three recommended actions for the advisor and three financial targets with progress against a savings ratio, a mortgage payment and a student loan payment.
What your team opens. Your whole customer base as one number, with the movement underneath it. Any group you define, with its coverage and who is in it. The roster under that, person by person, with the weak scores marked. One participant, five shields, and the next action on each of them.
The join step in the Troutwood app: two overlapping marks for Troutwood and the customer’s organization above a heading reading Join Team, an instruction to enter the team’s passcode to join a sponsored organization, six empty digit boxes, an option to skip the step and add it later, and a Continue button.
How a customer joins you. One passcode puts them inside your program, with your organization named on the first screen they see.
A sponsor sheet over the app’s team screen. It reads Proudly sponsored by above the sponsoring organization’s wordmark, then a challenge card marked New: a photograph of a piggy bank, a date range of 08/01/2025 to 11/01/2025, 84 accepted, a title of Millionaire Maker, an instruction to create a plan with a goal that hits or exceeds $1,000,000, and a View Challenge button. Under it, a card offering more about the sponsor, and a row of its social links.
What you put in front of them. Your brand, messages, challenges, and next steps - delivered directly to your customers inside the app.
